Dr. Evans-Fulton offers psychological assessments for those who need additional services to clarify diagnoses and treatment options. She specifically offers options for full diagnostic psyhcologicals, IQ testing, trauma assessments, and parenting assessments. She also accepts referrals from court-services and the justice system. She is able to tailor assessments for children age 5 and up, as well as adults of all ages.
Although she no longer offers clinical counseling, her focus remains on providing assessment services that are tailored to the specific needs of each individual client. She believes that the goal of mental health treatment is to empower each person to embark on the journey toward the quality of life, functionality, and fulfillment that they seek. She finds that through providing assessment services, she is able to help clients of all ages clarify their needs and connect to the approrapite proffessionals for clinical services.
Please note that most insurances do not cover the costs of psychological assessments. Dr. Evans-Fulton is willing to work with alternative funding sources, if a client has access to such reseources. She is also willing to discuss payment plan options for self-pay.
What does Victoria want potential clients to know?
As an Appalachian native, I love storytelling and I believe that stories have a powerful role in how we perceive life and in the way that we interact with and connect to others. This belief informs my approach to assessments through the narrative lens, and I focus on helping people tell their stories in a way that brings healing and restoration. However, our experiences and life stories are not just recorded in our memories, as our bodies often signal trauma symptoms somatically in the form of chronic physical pain and other distressing physical symptoms. I am trained in a variety of psychological testing options and I can provide holistic care referrals based on identified needs. I am excited to use these skills to provide comprehensive assessments for each client.
